About tax entity limit types

Some states assign limits to the amount of taxes you collect. Check with your state tax agency.

Type Number

Description

1-Invoice

Applies the billing maximum to a single invoice.

2-Job

Applies the billing maximum to a job.

3-Service Contract

Applies the billing maximum to a service record assigned status 10-Contract.

4-Service Location

Applies the billing maximum to a single service location. A client might have multiple locations and the limit applies to each location.

5-Client Applies the billing maximum to a client.
