About migrating your data from version 19.7

Upgrading a company database from an earlier version

After installing a new version of Sage 100 Contractor, you must upgrade existing company databases so they are compatible with the new version.

IMPORTANT:  Do not use this utility to upgrade your data from version 19.7! Use the Migration utility instead.

Before upgrading a company database

To upgrade a company from a an earlier version

  1. Click Upgrade Company Databases.
  2. In the grid on the tab, select the check box beside each company you want to upgrade to the current version of Sage 100 Contractor.

    You can upgrade the databases for several companies at once, or you can upgrade them one at a time, as needed.

  3. Click [Upgrade Database].
