About Disk Performance

This Dashboard indicator shows whether the average speed with which the computer writes to and reads from the data drive is adequate.

IMPORTANT:  Operating system-based disk caching is disabled for this test, so the actual performance may be much greater than reported here.

Status	Condition of your system
	The computer reads and writes at a minimum rate of 100 MBps.
	The computer reads or writes at a rate between 50 MBps and 100 MBps. Click the adjacent view details link on the Dashboard for more information about your computer's settings.
	The computer reads or writes at a rate below 50 MBps. Click the adjacent view details link on the Dashboard for more information about your computer's settings.
