Many companies work in several different provinces, and have a different program account for each. You can create a table containing all the different program accounts.
Important! You will not be able to add CRA program accounts unless you provide all the information required: Business Number, Program ID, Reference #, and Description of the program account. The [Save Account] button in the CRA Program Accounts window is grayed out unless all valid information is entered.
Enter your 9 digit business number in the Business Number text box.
Note: You must enter a valid business number to continue setting up the CRA program accounts. The business number you enter here is prefixed to the ID and Reference # information in the CRA Program Accounts window to create your program accounts.
In the ID field, choose one of the following program IDs:
In the Reference # cell, enter the reference number.
Note: The reference # you enter for an RC program account may be automatically assigned when you incorporate with the provinces of British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario, or Saskatchewan, or with Industry Canada (federal).
